This Privacy Policy describes how the Social Email Finder Chrome extension handles information when users scan Instagram and TikTok profiles or optionally inspect linked public websites.
Information processed
The extension may process profile URLs, usernames, display names, public biographies, publicly displayed email addresses, linked website URLs, scan status, and the public source where an email was found.
How information is used
This information is processed only to provide the extension’s profile scanning, email extraction, deduplication, progress saving, copying, and CSV export features.
Local processing and storage
Extracted information and scan progress are processed and stored locally using Chrome extension storage. The developer does not receive, view, or maintain copies of this information.
Users can delete locally stored information by selecting Clear inside the extension or by uninstalling it. CSV files exported by a user remain on that user’s device until deleted by the user.
Network requests
The extension makes requests directly from the user’s browser to Instagram, TikTok, and public websites selected by the user. Access to linked websites is optional and is requested only when the user enables website scanning.
The extension does not read, store, transmit, or disclose passwords or authentication tokens.
Information sharing
The developer does not sell, rent, disclose, or share extracted information, browsing information, or extension usage information with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
Data security
The extension does not operate a developer-controlled data server and does not transmit extracted results to the developer. Users are responsible for protecting exported files stored on their devices.
Third-party services
Instagram, TikTok, and linked websites operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Social Email Finder is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, or endorsed by Instagram, TikTok, Meta, or ByteDance.
User responsibilities
Users must use publicly available contact information responsibly and comply with applicable privacy, marketing, anti-spam, and platform rules.
Children’s privacy
Social Email Finder is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This policy may be updated when the extension’s functionality or data practices change. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
